  14. I have a Supra FAX Modem 144 LC. When ever I try to dial out I get a NO DIALTONE error. The 
  15. phone line isok and other modems are able to function on it. The Supra is in good condition and 
  16. has not suffered any kind of impact. When software packages (like Kermit or ConfigPPP) 
  17. attempt to dial out, they can contact the modem through the serial port and the Supra will click as 
  18. if it is trying to get a dial tone. Ofcoarse there is silence until the time out. Can anyone help me?
